Event
An unplanned event that you respond to and record details about.
eg a fall or a fire.
Inspection
A periodic inspection where you assess quality and status and capture new information.
eg A monthly kitchen inspection or quarterly staff supervision session.
Audit
A periodic review of existing information, which you would compare to minimum standards or previous year levels.
eg a Infection audit that looked at all the infection inspections, like kitchen inspection and any incidents that were infection related.
