Spark has been designed to run fast,  so it does run well on older hardware but the more power you've got the faster it will go,  saving you time.

Hosting and Security

Spark is:

• Hosted in the EU
• Encrypted.  Data storage and network traffic is encrypted with the following protocols
  
  • SSL (TLS 1.2 , ECDHE_RSA with P-256 and AES_128_GCM)
• Virus checked
• Protected by a industry standard firewall
• Managed by our Spark experts who design it to keep data safe

Technology

Spark is a current technology web application.

• All components are integrated into the system.
• Flash is not a requirement.
• Javascript should be enabled in the browser
• Spark sends automated emails, virus checked

• Internet Explorer 12 or later
• Google Chrome 60+
• Firefox 50+

Workstation requirements

• Screen size - 1920×1080
• Processor - 2 GHz
• Memory - 2 GB

Network requirements

• 100 Kb/s per user
• 2 Mb/locality

Things to avoid

• Anti virus software programmes that scrutinise and sanitise each page
  • This slows all pages down considerably.  
  • Trusted sites which are used in your organisation can be added to a bypass or white-list.
• Internet Explorer 11 or older
  • IE11 is quite outdated and not designed to run current browser applications like Spark.  It takes 10 times longer to build some pages compared to the recommended browsers
